EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers) connects geoscientists worldwide to support communication and development across the global geoscience industry. While our Headquarters are located in the Netherlands, this role is based in our Regional Office in Kuala Lumpur. You will work closely with colleagues locally, as well as with teams in our other offices in Dubai, Bogota, and Europe.
As an Inside Sales Representative at EAGE, you are the engine behind our sales growth and client satisfaction. You will work side-by-side with Account Managers to build the pipeline and ensure our clients get the most out of their investments.
Your primary focus is action-oriented: You will actively hunt for new leads, qualify inbound inquiries, and ensure that our exhibitors and clients are successfully onboarded. Crucially, you view client service as a sales opportunity—using onboarding sessions to identify gaps and cross-sell additional solutions to maximize revenue.
Lead Generation (Hunting): Proactively hunt for new business through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to set up qualified meetings for Account Managers.
Inbound Qualification: Rapidly assess and follow up on inbound leads (within 3 days), logging all interactions in Salesforce to ensure no opportunity is lost.
Client Onboarding: Conduct personalized onboarding sessions for new clients (Exhibitors) to ensure they understand the product value and how to utilize it effectively.
Cross-Selling: Actively identify opportunities during client interactions to sell added-value products (e.g., lead retrieval, advertising, corporate pages).
Account Mapping: Identify key decision-makers and budget holders within target accounts to ensure we are speaking to the right people.
CRM Management: Maintain impeccable records in Salesforce, ensuring all lead statuses, call summaries, and client details are up to date.

Opportunity Spotter: You have a nose for business; you hear a client problem and immediately think of which EAGE product can solve it (cross-selling).
Service-Minded: You understand that good service leads to better sales.
Communicator: You have strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Organized: You can manage multiple leads and onboarding processes simultaneously without dropping the ball.
Tech-Comfortable: Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) is a strong plus.
