EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers) connects geoscientists worldwide to support communication and development across the global geoscience industry. This role is located in Bunnik, Netherlands (HQ) but we work closely with our colleagues in our other regional offices which are located in Bogota, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur.
The Role
We are expanding our sales team and seeking an entrepreneurial Account Manager to be based in our Bunnik, Netherlands office. This role focuses on managing and expanding a portfolio of clients. As an Account Manager, you will spend 70% of your time nurturing and enhancing existing client relationships and 30% acquiring new business. Your goal is to help clients succeed through consultative selling and leveraging our platform of events, journals, and resources.
You will:
- Manage your assigned portfolio of accounts
- Create market segment reports to identify opportunities and match them with your clients needs
- Identify and close new business opportunities
- Work closely with other teams (Events, Communication, Media)
- Communicate directly with clients, including cold-call outreach
- Report to the Sales Manager
